The Steps is a place to gather, make friends and engage people with different ideas, people who are responsible and accept the differences between them. A place through which we will continue to make our dreams and causes come true. A place where to be yourself can actually be the easiest thing in the world.

We created Single Step Foundation to help young LGBTI people in Bulgaria go through the difficulties that accompany them every day, to help them be free, unafraid and to feel they are a part of a community. We are proud to have helped many not only accept themselves, but also have the strength to dream. And, of course – not to be alone along the way.

The first step was difficult, but we took it. Then we took the next one. And so Single Step has come a long way. When we felt we were walking on it calmly and with a smile on our face, the time came to create The Steps, our social enterprise. Whoever you are, come to The Steps without prejudice so we can all learn to communicate, live and create the better tomorrow we all deserve.
